Roxanne “Roxy” Copeland was called Home, surrounded by her loving family, Friday evening, June 25, 2021. Roxanne was born the youngest of three children to Lucille and C W Ash, in Pasadena, Texas on June 3, 1958. Roxanne grew up and spent her younger years in the Houston area.
In the mid 80’s, Roxanne moved to Central Texas with her son, Chris and settled in the Williamson County Area. Roxanne worked several jobs over the years including office manager, veterinarian technician, and dispatcher. While working as a dispatcher, she met the love of her life, Bill Copeland. After a short courtship, Bill asked Roxanne for her hand in marriage, and the two were married on March 4, 1994.
Roxanne loved animals of all kinds, but her biggest love was her dogs and her horses. She enjoyed traveling around the state and country on horseback, riding with Bill and always with one or more of her dogs by their side. They rode as far East as Tennessee and West to Colorado, but their favorite place to ride was right here in Central Texas at the Parrie Haynes Ranch.
Bill and Roxanne later started their own company, Rocking C Trucking and the two worked side by side the remainder of her life. Roxanne never met a stranger; everyone she met was treated like family. Her kind, caring, loving heart was felt by everyone that crossed her path, many became lifelong friends.
Roxanne was proceeded in death by both her parents, C W and Lucille, and her son, Troy Copeland.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 27 years, Bill Copeland; her two sons, Chris Griffin and his wife Carol, and David Copeland and husband Richard Thorman; her seven grandchildren, Tiffany, Lexi, Gwyneth and husband Christian, Evie, Creighton, Dobin, and Jacob; her two brothers, John Ash and wife Carolyn and Bob Ash and wife Susan; her beloved pets, Lola, Spike, Giblet, and Peaches.
“Roxanne You Will Be Loved and Missed by All. We Will See You at Home….”
