Marjorie “Busy-Bee” Marie Kanada, 78, of Bastrop, passed away Saturday evening, October 3, 2020. Survived by husband, James Lee Kanada. Her casket will lie in state at the Elgin Funeral Home, Thursday, October 8th from 12:00 PM until 5:00 PM. A Home-Going Celebration will be conducted at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist, Friday, October 9th at 11:00 AM with the Reverend, Milton Lewis presiding. Interment will follow at the Sayers Cemetery.
