Benigno Alvarado

Benigno Vasquez Alvarado, 71, of College Station, passed away peacefully, Wednesday evening, February 5, 2020.  He was born on February 27, 1948, in Mission, Texas to the late Gregorio and Julia Alvarado. He grew up all over Texas and the U.S while working as a migrant worker. He then owned a home remodeling company for over 30 years. He and his wife raised their three children in Pflugerville, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ramona Renteria Alvarado; and is survived by  his children, Gloria Alvarado, Lorenzo Alvarado, and Esperanza Terrell; and eight grandchildren. His beautiful smile and laugh will be remembered forever as he will always be in our hearts.

A Celebration of Christian Funeral Mass will be conducted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Elgin, on Saturday, February 15th at 10:00 AM with Father, George presiding.  Christian Burial will follow at the Elgin Latin Cemetery.
