Andrew Johnson

Andrew Reid Johnson, of Elgin, Texas, passed away at the age of 16 years old on Sunday, July 25, 2021. He loved to create digital music and digital art and his dream was to make people happy through his music and art. He attended K-8th at Coupland ISD and was a 9th grader at Taylor ISD. He was a beloved son, grandson, great-grandson, and brother.

He is survived by his parents, Jimmy and Cassie; his sister, Sarah; his brothers, Seth and Levi; his paternal grandmother, Joyce Gardner; his paternal great-grandmother, Jewel Tomlin; his maternal grandfather, Richard McLaughlin; his maternal grandmother, Cecile Ramirez; his maternal great-grandmother, Francis McLaughlin; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Family and friends will gather at Elgin Funeral Home for Visitation on Saturday, July 30th from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Andrew's Life at 3:00 PM, with the Reverend, Willie Richards presiding.  Interment will follow at Lawhon Springs Cemetery.
