Wynetta Cathey, 61, of Elgin passed away peacefully Thursday, May 23, 2019. Family and friend will gather at the Elgin Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 29th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Home-Going Celebration will be conducted at the Lost Pines Cowboy Church of Elgin, under the auspices of Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church of Elgin, on Thursday, May 30th at 3:00 PM. with the Reverend Byron Green presiding. Interment will follow at the Sayers Cemetery.
