Willie Mae Evans, 98, of Taylor, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, March 1, 2022. She will lie in state at Elgin Funeral Home, Friday, March 18th from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM. A Home-Going Celebration will be conducted at Providence District Association Tabernacle of Cedar Creek, under the auspices of Zion Chapel Missionary Baptist Church of Taylor, Saturday, March 19th at 11:00 AM with Pastor Johnny R. Spence presiding. Interment will follow at Clearview Cemetery, Hills Prairie.
