Vernon Anderson

Vernon Leroy Anderson, 91, passed away at his winter home in Texas on February 24, 2016. Vernon was born to Willie and Naomi Anderson on June 14, 1924 in Anoka, MN. Vernon was a faithful lifetime member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He married his lifelong partner, Joan in 1953 and together they raised their family as dairy farmers in Minnesota. Vernon was an independent, quiet, and faithful husband and father. He honored God with his steadfastness and recognized God"s hand in all things. His joy came from working with his hands and his commitment to God and family.He spent his retirement years in Crossville, TN. His final years brought him to Texas for the winter and Minnesota for the summer. Vernon is survived by Joan, his wife of 62 years; his children Steve, Jeff, Ken, Sylvia; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; and his brother Gordon Anderson.
