Staci Torres

September 9, 1964 — June 16, 2018

Staci Torres Singleton passed away suddenly at her home in Elgin, Texas on June 16, 2018, at the age of 53. Staci was born on September 9,1964 in Amarillo, Texas to Neill and Bernice Singleton. At the age of 14, Staci went to live with her sister, Debbie and her family in Highland Village, Texas. During this time, she helped care for her nieces and treated them as if they were her younger siblings. Staci graduated from Lewisville High School in 1982. Following graduation, she began her professional career working in the cable industry but, ultimately found her passion was in health care. For the last several years she worked for Parallon Enterprise at St. David's Hospital, where she served as a Patient Registrar. In 2016, Staci and Kim were married and relocated from Austin, Texas to Elgin, Texas.

She enjoyed music and singing and had a laugh that was infectious. It was impossible not to feel happy and encouraged in her presence. Additionally, Staci was a gifted artist, she enjoyed watching and participating in sports, and loved having fun with friends and family. People who were lucky enough to be loved by Staci knew they always had someone who believed in them and who would always be their biggest cheerleader. She made a lasting impression on all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.
