Sandra Hernandez, born on July 17, 1961, in San Angelo, Texas, departed from this world on October 18, 2025, in Taylor, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love and faith that will be cherished by all who knew her. She dedicated herself to her family and her community, serving in the ministry of the Apostolic Assembly since 1996, where she passionately shared the Gospel and touched countless lives.

On September 12, 1986, in Georgetown, Texas, Sandra united in marriage with her beloved husband, Jesus Hernandez, and together they built a life infused with love and commitment over nearly four decades. Their bond was a testament to the power of partnership, the faith they shared, and the family they nurtured together.

Sandra's heart was filled with joy as a mother to her two sons. Adam Carrillo and his wife, Mayra, enriched her life with three beautiful grandchildren - Sarah, Nathan, and Sophia. Matthew Hernandez and his wife, Alejandra, blessed her with four cherished grandchildren: Matthew Jr., Daniella, Abraham, and Timothy.  Each grandchild held a special place in her heart, and she poured her love and wisdom into their lives.

In addition to her immediate family, Sandra had a close-knit relationship with her siblings: Richard Carrillo, Mary Hernandez, and her husband, Gabino; Robert Carrillo and his wife, Diane; and Roy Carrillo and his wife, Diana. The bonds of family were an integral part of her life, as she was deeply loved by numerous nephews and nieces.

Sandra's passion extended beyond her family; she cherished the time she spent in Galveston, Texas, where she enjoyed brief getaways that brought her peace and happiness. A skilled cook, Sandra took great pleasure in preparing meals, keeping her home spotless, and indulging in her favorite treats, particularly strawberry ice cream and mojarra frita. Her culinary delights were a source of comfort, bringing family and friends together around her table.

Baptized in the name of Jesus by Bishop Raul Gomez in June 1992, Sandra's faith was at the core of her life. She joined her efforts in ministry with a twinkle in her eye, radiating warmth and caring wherever she went. Her travels for church activities were not just journeys; they were mission-driven, fueled by her desire to spread love and hope.

Sandra leaves a cherished legacy filled with joyful memories, unwavering faith, and a familial bond that transcends life's challenges. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Ricardo Juarez Carrillo and Nicolasa Carrillo, whose spirits will surely welcome her with open arms.

Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."  Acts 2:38
