Rudolph (Rudy) Marciel, Sr., 68, of Manor, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021. Rudy was born in Austin, Texas to Rita and Lorenzo Marciel on Thursday, October 16, 1952. He graduated from Manor High School and worked in the construction and lumber industry until his retirement in the early 90’s. Rudy’s greatest enjoyment was to go fishing every chance he got.
He was preceded in death by both parents, Rita, and Lorenzo Marciel; four siblings, Antonio Marciel, Ruben Marciel, Lorenzo Marciel, Elodia Rodriguez, and Felicitas Gonzales; son, Rudy Marciel, Jr.
He is survived by daughter, Laurie Zschermitz, of Wisconsin; four sisters, Nellie Reyes, Olivia Kleidon, Stella Matlock, Mary Marciel; and brother, Robert (Rosie) Marciel; five grandchildren as well as numerous extended family and friends from the Manor area.
Rudy lived a simple life and had requested cremation and no services.
