Rose "Penny" Marion Bradford

Rose Marion “Penny” Bradford, 60, of Bastrop, Texas, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025.

Rose, sweetly called “Penny”, was born to Adolph and Laverne Miller on May 11, 1965, in Bastrop, Texas.

On February 15, 1985, she married the love of her life, Jerry Bradford. They were blessed with four children: Jerry Lynn, Patrick, Angel Marie, and Steven Ray.

Penny is preceded in death by her mother and father, Adolph and Laverne Miller; her son, Steven Ray Bradford; her nephew, Henry Miller; her mother-in-law, Patsy Bradford; and her brother-in-law, Otis Drake.

Penny is survived by her husband and friend, Jerry Bradford of forty-one years, two sons, Jerry Lynn and Patrick Scott, a daughter, Angel Marie, one precious granddaughter, Emmi Renee, two sisters, Bettie Drake and Mary Miller, and one brother, Gordon Miller, and his wife, Charlene, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Friends and family will gather for Visitation at Elgin Funeral Home on Monday, November 10th, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Gordon Miller presiding. Interment will be private.
