Roberta Kelton Beck

September 1, 1977 — February 9, 2023

Dripping Springs, Texas

Roberta Ann Kelton Beck , 45, of Dripping Springs, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023.  Roberta was born, in Austin, Texas, to Robert Gordon Kelton and Evelyn Galipp Kelton, on September 1, 1977.  She was Baptized and Confirmed at Saint Pauls Lutheran Church of Austin, where she also attended school until the 8th grade.  She graduated from Bowie High School with the Class of ’95.  After graduation, she married Sean Witherall and together they had a son, Robert Sean.

She had a passion for animals, which lead to an early career as a Veterinary Technician, where she worked for several practices in the South Austin and Oak Hill areas.  Of course having such a big heart, she would often take home many animals, where they inevitably found their forever-home.

Roberta later enrolled in college to become a Dental Hygienist and Assistant.  She truly loved working in the Dentistry field, especially working for Dr. James McGee’s practice in Austin, where she met an awesome group of people, whom she considered family.

She was a loving, kind soul, who was very protective of the ones she loved.  She would always help anyone in need.  Roberta was a beautiful person, both inside and out!

When Roberta met Joe, she found that special love she had longed for her entire life.  She always knew it was God’s plan that brought them together.  Roberta had always wanted more children, which God blessed her with when she met Joe’s children, Joe III, Julia, and Adalynn.  She loved them as if they were her own.

Roberta was preceded in death by both her parents, and her brother-in-law, David Grimm.

Roberta is survived by her loving husband, Joe Beck, II; her children, Robert, Joe Beck III, Julia, and Adalynn; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Darla and Doug Thornton; her sister, Diane Grimm of Lincoln; her nieces and nephews, Tracy and Philip Christiansen, Jonathan and Becky Grimm all of Giddings, and Doug and Lindsey Grimm of Lexington; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kloe, Avary, Austin, Madison, Tyler, Lauryn, Chris, Chanten, and Talon; her great-great-niece and nephew, Parker and Harper; her furry companions, Trigger and Marvin; and numerous extended family and dear friends.  We were so blessed to have her in our lives and know with confidence she is in Heaven resting in God’s arms.  We will honor her beautiful life, by ensuring that we never take a day or each other for granted.

In Lieu of Flowers, Family request Memorial Contributions be made in Roberta’s Memory to American Stroke Association.

Roberta’s Loving Spirit will live on in Heaven and here on earth.  Her selfless decision to become an Organ-Donor, is giving the gift of life to many others, which is just another part of God’s Plan for Roberta’s Life.

Roberta will be laid to rest at McDade Cemetery, Saturday, February 11th at 10:00 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life, at Friendship Creekside Fellowship Church of Austin at 1:00 PM with Pastor Marvin Petzolt presiding.
