Deacon Robert Louis Simms, Sr.

Deacon Robert Louis Simms, Sr., 83, of Elgin passed away early Friday Morning, September 1, 2023.  He is survived by his wife, Ruby.  Family and Friends will gather for Visitation at Elgin Funeral Home, Friday, September 8th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  A Home-Going Celebration will be conducted at First Baptist Church of Elgin, under the auspices of Pleasant Bethany Missionary Baptist Church of Elgin, Saturday, September 9th at 11:00 AM with Pastors A.R. Evans, Jr. and Louis Harrison, Jr. presiding.  Interment will follow at Elgin Latin Cemetery.
