Quinton Octavier Steffon Arnold was born on May 23, 1988, in Austin, Texas, to Willis Arnold Jr. and Margie Nell Arnold. At an early age, Quinton professed his life to Christ and was baptized under the leadership of Pastor Bernard Buhl at One Way Baptist Church at the age of thirteen. His faith in God remained a guiding light throughout his life. Quinton attended Garza High School, where he graduated in 2006. He was a lover of music and media, often expressing his creativity through his own YouTube channel, where he interviewed local artists and shared his passion for storytelling and connection. In 2017, Quinton married his longtime sweetheart, Ebony, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and faith. Their union was blessed with five wonderful children: Trenton, Quinton Jr., Kailee, Syn'Cere, and Octavier. Quinton was a devoted husband and father who absolutely cherished his wife and children. His family was the center of his world. Quinton was known for his genuine and loyal spirit. His smile was contagious and could light up any room. To those who knew him, he was affectionately called Poppa, Daddy, Pops, Pooh, Big Daddy Cane, Que, or Quin and no matter the name, it carried warmth, love, and respect. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers Marie Rector and Percy Jean Arnold; grandfathers Charles Rector and Willis Arnold Sr.; uncles Clarence Williams, Robert Williams, Terry Rector, George Rector, Tony Arnold, Charles Miles; aunts; Sharon Rector; and godmother Teresa Davis. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Ebony Arnold; his children Trenton, Quinton Jr., Kailee, Syn'Cere, and Octavier; his parents Margie Nell Arnold; Willis Arnold Jr. ( Patricia Arnold) and Luther Roberts; brothers Willis Charles Arnold (Patricia Arnold), Jaborie Arnold, Terry Arnold, Willis Michael Arnold (Jasmine); sisters Demetra Rector, TaMyra Roberts, Toreca Arnold, Shauntae Holmes (Anquail Holmes); uncles Timmy Rector, Charles Haywood, Garwood Williams, Charles Williams, Tommy Arnold; aunts Lillian Fisher, Joyce Torrence, Ella Williams, Wilma Williams , Debra Williams, Patricia Sledge; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, two great nephews, two great nieces, and many loving friends. Though Quinton’s earthly journey has come to an end, his love, laughter, and legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” – 2 Timothy 4:7 "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven." — Ecclesiastes 3:1 Family and Friends will gather for Visitation at Elgin Funeral Home on Thursday, October 23rd, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held at Elgin Funeral Home on Friday, October 24th, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Sayers Cemetery.
