Lula Bell Simms, 100, of Bastrop, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023. Family and friends will gather for a Wake at Lone Star Missionary Baptist Church of Bastrop, Friday, March 3rd from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Home Going Celebration will be held at Lone Star Missionary Baptist Church of Bastrop, Saturday, March 4th at 11:00 AM with Reverend Michal Simms, Eulogy and Reverend Clarence Roberson presiding. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.
