Mildred Lucille Yates, 80, passed away peacefully, Sunday evening, December 29, 2019.
Mildred was preceded in death by both her parents, C.L. Brent and Hattie T. Proctor Brent; and her sister, Dorita Long.
Mildred leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Linda and husband William Boone of Austin; her son, Gary Sanders; her brother, Kenneth Yates of Madisonville, Kentucky; her sister, Calinda Long of Louisville, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Andre Yates, Kevin Yates, Donald Yates, and DeShawn Yates; and abundance of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A Home Going Celebration will be conducted at the E.M. Franklin Chapel of St. James Missionary Baptist Church of Austin, under the auspices of Power House of Praise Christian Fellowship, on Tuesday, January 7th at 11:00 AM, with Bishop, Michael Scott and Dr. Esther Scott presiding. Inurnment will be private.
