Lorene Wilcox

Lorene Estelle Romine Wilcox, 90, of Elgin, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, July 7, 2020.  Lorene was born to Allie and Effie Romine on January 10, 1930.  She leaves to cherish her memory her three sons, Thomas Wilcox and wife Jan of Houston, Kenneth Wilcox and wife Michele of Lexington, and Keith Wilcox and wife Lisa of Elgin; her adopted daughter, Karla Wilcox and husband Wade of Washington; her sister, Mary Jo Preece and husband Eugene of Leander; her 8 grandchidren, 22 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren; and multiple nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Lorene's casket will lie in state at the First Christian Church of Elgin, on Saturday, July 11th from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM.  Funeral Services will follow at the Elgin Cemetery with the Reverend Mark Nygard presiding.
