Leona Bulak

Leona Lee Whitehead Bulak won her halo on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, due to complication from COVID-19. Leona was born at Brackenridge hospital in Austin, Texas on Tuesday, July 16, 1953, to Ritha Bernice Whisenhunt and Charlie Lee Whitehead.

Leona leaves behind to honor her memory, her husband, Howard Bulak; daughter, Paula Richard and her two children, Remi and Rena; her son, Christopher Bulak, his wife Stephine and their three children, Grant, Ethan and Grace; sisters, Geneva Blackwell (Marvin), Ritha Burnham, Pam Tharp, Rachael Tharp; brother, Mike Tharp (Melissa). Leona will be missed as we go through our daily lives in the future.

Family and Friends will gather for visitation at Elgin Funeral Home, Saturday September 11, 2021, at 10:00 AM followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Rick Bartlett presiding.  Inurnment will be private.
