L. B. "Junior" Evans, III., 52, of Elgin, passed away Monday morning, July 11, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Sonta Henderson-Evans. L. B. will lie in state at Elgin Funeral Home, Friday, July 15th from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM. A Home-Going Celebration will be conducted at Providence District Association Tabernacle of Cedar Creek at 2:30 PM with the Reverend Eric Tarver presiding. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
