Larry led a rich and fulfilling life, leaving behind a trail of accomplishments that showcased his unwavering dedication and passion. His academic pursuits led him through Bellflower High School in Bellflower, California, to obtaining Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Occidental College in Eagle Rock, California. His commitment to serving his country was also evident through his honorable discharge from the United States Army Reserve in 1964.
Throughout his illustrious career as a Software Engineer at esteemed organizations such as Boeing, NASA, General Electric, St. Jude Medical, and ATK, Larry's intellect shone brightly. His expertise and innovative contributions left an indelible mark on the field of engineering.
But Larry was not just defined by his professional achievements; he was a man of many interests and passions. From running competitively in Track and Field to setting records at Occidental College to enjoying leisurely hikes and long walks, Larry embraced life with vigor and zest. His love for classical music filled his home with beautiful melodies, while savoring fine wines and diverse cuisines brought him immense joy.
In his final moments, Larry was surrounded by his beloved family - a testament to the deep bonds he nurtured throughout his life. He is now reunited with his parents, William L. Wray and Mable E. McKinney; brother, Jack Wray; sister, Peggy Halfhill, and niece Jackie Stanard.
Larry's legacy lives on through his devoted wife Siti T. Wray, whom he married in Kuai, Hawaii on March 17, 1995; his children, Charles Lawrence Wray-Huffman, Carey Lauren Wray-Huffman, Alisanne Rebecca Wray-Huffman, and Ariyani Cahyaningsih Saucedo; son-in-law, Matthew Rick Saucedo; niece, Jennifer Cline; and grandchildren, Brianna Marie Saucedo, Lilliani Soraya Saucedo, and Riyan Sophia Saucedo.
