Jose Luis Sarmiento Gonzalez, 57, of Elgin, passed away Wednesday evening, February 5, 2025. He will lie In State at Elgin Funeral Home on Monday, February 17th from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Family and Friends will gather for Visitation from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM. A Celebration of Christian Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Elgin on Tuesday, February 18th at 12:00 PM with Father Paul Hudson presiding. Inurnment will be private.
