Deacon James Lee Hawkins, 71, of Elgin, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021. Survived by his wife, Saundra. He will lie in state at Elgin Funeral Home, Friday, October 29th from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM. A Home Going Celebration will be conducted at Family Worship Center of Elgin, under the auspices of Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church of Utley, Saturday, October 30th at 2:00 PM with the Reverend R.W. Carter presiding. Interment will follow at Colorado Chapel Cemetery of Utley.
