Gloria Buitron, 74, of Elgin, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Gloria was born in Mathis, Texas on December 2, 1945, to Alcario and Manuela Suarez De Leon. Gloria enjoyed singing in her younger years and loved to garden and read her Holy Bible.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alberto Buitron and her two brothers, Ysidro De Leon and Jose De Leon.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Lori Ann De Leon-Herrera and many nieces, nephews, and dear friend Susan Ayala of Austin.
Her body will lie in state at the Elgin Funeral Home on Thursday, March 19th from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM. A private Celebration of Christian Funeral Mass will be conducted at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Elgin on Friday, March 20th with Father George presiding. Christian Burial will follow at the Elgin Latin Cemetery.
