Galen Vernon Griffin, 50, of Austin, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Liliana. Family and Friends will gather for Visitation at Elgin Funeral Home, Friday, August 25th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM. A Celebration of Christian Funeral Mass will be conducted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Elgin, Saturday, August 26th at 10:00 AM with Father Paul Hudson presiding. Christian Burial will follow at Elgin Latin Cemetery.
