Gail Everhart (Eldred)

Gail Everhart (Eldred) passed away on December 24, 2025 in Cypress, TX. Born on August 8, 1947 in Brenham, TX, Gail was a loved and cherished pillar in her family home. 

Professionally, Gail spent many years as an executive secretary. Later in life she lived with her daughter and son-in-law residing in Cypress for over 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, reading, exercising, and dog walking. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren. 

Gail devoted her life to God, attending the Christ Covent Church regularly. She always made sure a Bible was nearby.

 Gail was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Everhart; mother, Lillian Eldred; father, Oscar “Buddy” Eldred; and sister, Glenda Eldred. 

Gail is survived by her daughter, Melanie Nevels (Frick), son-in-law, Heath Nevels; Granddaughter Jolie McAdams (Nevels); and two great grandsons, Jayce, and Rex McAdams. 

Gail had the ability to put a smile on anyone’s face. Her warmth, kindness, and unforgettable smile will be deeply missed by her loved ones.
