Edward Alan Berg, Jr.

Edward Alan Berg, Jr., 71, of Pflugerville, Texas, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 30, 2024. He was the son of Edward Berg and Jeanne Tester, born on July 30, 1952, in Saint Paul, Minnesota.   He attended Saint John’s Preparatory School and graduated from Farmington High School in Farmington, Minnesota.  Upon graduating, Edward joined the United States Air Force in 1971. He served for four years. Sgt. Berg received an Honorable Discharge on July 7, 1977.

Edward's life was enriched when he was united in Holy Matrimony to Herman Joel Nevarez on May 15, 2015, in Kane County, Illinois. Their marriage was a source of love, joy, and countless cherished memories, a testament to the happiness they found in each other.  

Edward leaves behind a priceless legacy that will be cherished by all who knew him: his husband, Joel Nevarez of Pflugerville, a sister, Barbara Jeanne Berg of Saint Paul, Minnesota, nieces and nephews, other relatives, and a wide circle of friends who were touched by his kindness and warmth.
