Dorris Lee Baker, 73, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, March 26, 2024. He will lie In State at Elgin Funeral on Friday, April 5th from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM. A Home-Going Celebration will be conducted at Sweet Home Baptist - The Pinnacle of Praise under the auspices of Pleasant Bethany Baptist Church of Elgin on Saturday, April 6th at 11:00 AM with Reverend Alvin Evans, Jr. pastor and Reverend D.W. Townsend presiding. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks.
