Dimple Joe Walker, 70, of Austin, passed away on April 23, 2025. She was born in Paris, Tx to Florida Mae Woodson and Otis Hill. She married Ray Lee Walker. To this union, two children were born: Virgil Walker and LaTrina Walker. After their separation, Dimple relocated to Lubbock, Tx. Dimple acquired her associates degree in addiction counseling from Texas Tech University. After completing her studies, she relocated to Austin, Tx. After she had retired from her labor, she often enjoyed Watching her favorite TV shows, reading, going for long walks, and listening to music. She spent lots of time caring for her companion dog “Juju.” Fellowship and prayer with her daughter, accompanied by repentance lead to Dimples restoration with the Lord; A true testament to his unwavering love for us. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Emma Mae Johnson, parents; Otis & Florida Mae Hill, husband Ray Lee Walker, siblings; Ronnie Hill, Carole Walker, and granddaughter, Quiniqua Walker. She is survived by her Children; Virgil Walker (Priscilla), LaTrina Peyton (Angelo), Grandchildren; Edward (Katrina), Brittanie, Xavier, Trevone, Devundrick, Jasmine, Emmajyn, Future, nieces; Brandi & Cheryl, nephew Robert and a host of other relatives. Family and Friends will gather for Visitation at Elgin Funeral Home, Friday, May 16th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at Elgin Funeral Home, Saturday, May 17th at 2:00 PM with Pastor David Cox presiding.
