It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Danny Ray Williams, Jr. on July 8, 2025. He was born on March 25, 1990, in Austin, Texas. A quiet soul with a gentle presence, Danny’s time with us was far too short, but his memory will forever remain a part of our family’s story. May he rest in peace, and may we find comfort in the love he left behind. He was a proud graduate of Del Valle High School. He was a man of many talents; he could cool you off as an HVAC specialist, fix your ride as a top-notch mechanic, or serve up a feast fit for a king as a chef extraordinaire. His knack for fixing older cars was only matched by his ability to whip up a meal that would make your taste buds stand up and cheer. Danny's spirit was as warm and big as his beloved state. He found humor in any situation. He had a unique laugh, a quality that made him the life of any gathering. His spark of madness ignited laughter and smiles wherever he went.
Although reserved by nature, Danny’s warmth and humor were deeply felt by those who truly knew him. He was a son, a brother, a father, an uncle, a cousin, and a friend whose memory will live on in the hearts of many.
Danny leaves behind his beloved daughter, Layla Raylyn Williams-Guerrero; his loving parents, Danny Ray Williams, Sr., and Alicia Moore-Lewis; his devoted sister, Rayana Nicole Williams; his grandparents, Harold Moore Sr., Steven Sr., Ionia Gillam, Lonnie Williams Sr., and Dorothy Williams; his stepparents, Cynthia Lewis and Martha Williams; and a host of cherished nieces and nephews who brought joy to his life and will always carry his spirit with them. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous other family members and friends.
In the words of Danny, also known as Dan, Ray, and known to many as

A letter to my Dad...
Dear Dad, I just wanted to tell you that even though you are gone, it doesn't really feel like it. You will always be here in my heart, and you were right. What am I going to do now that you are gone? This is not goodbye; this is I'll see you later.
I love you, Dad.
Layla
