Curtis Ray Jones, Sr., 69, formerly of Elgin, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023. Curtis was born July 15, 1954, to Sarah Jean Frierson and Thomas Frierson, Sr., in Austin, Texas.
Curtis was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Jones; daughter, Sally Frierson; mother, Sarah Willie Jones; and father, Thomas Frierson, Sr.
He is survived by his three children, Curtis Jones, Jr. of Clarksville, Arkansas, Michael Doyle Jones and wife, Teresa of Elgin, and Sheila and husband, Robert Roberts of Fulton; grandchildren, Xavier Jones and Daisey Jones; sisters, Sharon Teague, Almeta Carter, and Vanessa Farmer; and brother, Thomas Frierson, Jr.
