Cristino Gonzalez, Jr., computer programmer of Round Rock, TX, formerly of Elgin, TX, passed away peacefully, at his home Monday night, May 9, 2011, at the age of 66. Cristino was the first born of four children to Ofelia and Cristino Gonzalez, Sr. in Elgin, TX on March 6, 1945. After graduating from Elgin High School in 1963, he entered the U.S. Air Force, where he served in Germany, Alabama, and Wichita Falls. After serving four years in the military, he began his studies at St. Edwards, where he received his Bachelors degree. He worked for Glastron Boat Company as an inventory controller for 12 years before working for I.B.M. Corporation as a computer programmer. He loved spending time with his family, volunteering for many elections as a pollmonitor, researching his family39s genealogy, and contributing to many charities, such as the Boy Scouts of America, Easter Seals, St. Williams and St. Edwards Catholic Churches.
