Clyde Ray Dowdle, 88, of Elgin, passed away on Wednesday evening, August 27, 2025. Family and Friends will gather for Repast and Fellowship at Elgin Church of Christ, Thursday, September 4th from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM. Family will receive guests at Elgin Funeral Home, Thursday, September 4th from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM followed by a Celebration of Clyde's Life at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jason Wilder presiding. Interment will follow at Elgin Cemetery with Honors presented by the Austin Police Department.
