As the youngest of four siblings, Claudia learned the values of hard work and perseverance from an early age. She assisted her mother at home, laying the foundation for the indomitable spirit that would define her life's journey.

Claudia faced adversity at a young age when tragedy struck, at 23 with the loss of her husband. She found herself widowed and left to support five young children. Undeterred, Claudia took various odd jobs to ensure there was food on the table while displaying a tenacity that would become a hallmark of her character.

In 2002, Claudia found solace and joy living in Manor, TX, with her son Victor and two grandsons. Family, fueled by her unwavering faith in God, was at the center of her world. She cherished moments spent together, whether playing bingo or enjoying gatherings filled with family, love, and laughter.

Claudia Salazar is survived by her children, Leonila Arroyo, Paula Arroyo, Margarita Arroyo, Socorro Arroyo, Minerva Arroyo, Margarito Garcia, Victor Garcia, Gregoria Garcia, and their loving spouses; 40 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
