Betty Joyce Green

Betty J. Green was born February 24, 1953, in Travis County, Texas, to Leonard " Sam" and Adell Green. Having had a strong Christian foundation, Betty accepted Christ at an early age at the New Testament Church in Austin, Texas.

Betty was known to be a very strong woman who was determined to provide for her family. She was self-employed, owning a private home cleaning business for over 30 years. 

Awaiting Betty’s arrival in Glory are her son, Michael Penson, her parents, three brothers, James Green, Donald Green, and Lee Green, and a granddaughter, Jasmine Raynor. 

Betty’s beautiful life will forever be cherished by her daughters, Denise Green and Christine Green (Obdule Ware), grandchildren Ta'Tyana German, Ishanna German, and Chris Raynor; one great-grandson, Nazir Dickerson; her brother, Leroy Green, and sister, Barbara Green; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives, as well as a multitude of friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
