Jc Williams, Sr.

On February 2, 1934, a baby boy was born to Johnny Williams and Pinkie Milligan – Williams in Elgin, Texas. Bro. J C gave his life to Christ at an early age at Lakeview Baptist Church where he was baptized by Reverend A.M. Mackey. He attended Red Town School. Bro. J C was employed with Elgin Standard / Butler / ACME Brick Company, retiring after forty-seven years of service.

Bro. J C was united in holy matrimony to the love of his life Juanita “Big Girl” Summers on March 9, 1957 and to this union eight children were born. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons, nephews, and grandsons, feeding his cows and hogs. He also enjoyed watching T. V. and sitting outside. Bro. J C was a loving and caring husband, father, papa, brother, uncle, friend and was loved by all.

Monday, February 6, 2017, Our Lord called Bro. J C home. Preceding him in death are his parents, Johnny and Pinkie Williams, three infant children, three brothers, Matthew, Joseph and Lazarus Williams, three sisters, Veora Williams, Elizabeth Williams – Thompson and Elnora Williams – Haynes.

Bro. J C leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 60 years, Juanita Summer-Williams; two daughters, Weddie Summers and Elsie Williams of Elgin, Texas; three sons, J C Williams, Jr. and wife Kimberly of Round Rock, Michael Williams and wife MeChell of Elgin, Ervin Williams and wife Ida of Manor; one brother, Reverend R.D. Williams and wife Thelma of Elgin; two sister-in-laws, Lee Lois Summers and Birdell Williams of Elgin, Texas. His legacy also includes six grandchildren, Jason, Jermain, Jacob, Devonte, Jerrica, Mahaya and three great-grandchildren, Javia, Vallen, and Jolia. His extended family of 11 grandchildren, Marvin, Michael, Ashia, Jordan, Kevias, Randall, Kieric, Kimeka, Anndrea, Andriananna, Tytiona; and six great-grandchildren, Avani, Makayla, Kierra, Tacaryah, Randi, Kennedi. And a host of nieces, nephews, family and dear friends.
