Mildred Washington Jackson, 87, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, December 6, 2018. She will lie in state at the Elgin Funeral Home on Thursday, December 13th from noon until 5:00 PM. A Home Going Celebration will be conducted at Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church on Friday, December 14th at 11:00 AM with Reverend Steven Ward Presiding. Interment will follow at Westbrook Memorial Cemetery.
